FAMOUS PLACES TO VISIT IN GOA

BASILICA OF BOM  JESUS 

Established in 1605, Basilica of Bom Jesus is one of the most popular tourists attractions of goa. It is so known as Old Goa church , this marvelous structure is one of the ancient churches in goa and boasts of marvelous architecture , beautiful frescos, precious stone work and works of Dom Martin Basilica Bom of Jesus . The preserved body of st. Francis Xavier is one of the major things, that pulls the tourists here.

MY EXPERIENCE
I had visited old goa church at least 3 times. It very famous church in goa. The opening hours are 9 am to 6:30 pm. Only on sundays, due to mass prayer sessions, the church opens for tourists at 10:30. Please do visit this place.

FORT AGUADA

Fort Aguada is an age-old Portuguese fort in goa, built in the 17th century. The fort was bulit to safeguard the Portuguese community  from Maratha and Dutch attack. The Fort was named Aguada which means water because of freshwater spring located inside the premises. Fort Aguada  is counted as one of the most visited tourists places in goa which have become more popular after the shooting of Bollywood movie "DIL CHAHTA HAI".

DUDHSAGAR FALLS

The 5th largest waterfall in India, Dudhsagar is one of must-see place of goa. It is located near Kulem, this gorgeous cascade is a sight of delight and wonder. Enjot the scenic drive of 60 km from goa to see how this mesmerizing waterfall gushes down in multiple layers amis thick luxuriant greenery.  You will love this place if you visit at least for 1 time.
