             THE BEAUTY OF GOA 

Goa is the smallest  state in India but also the most laid back and  most popular with tourists.  Goa is amongs the best travel destinati8ons  tha India has to offer. And therefore when people travel to this lovely former Portuguese colony, their expectations are forever sky highway.  Goa is famous for beautiful beaches and peace.  Famous beaches of South Goa are colva, benaulim, Agonda and palolem beach. Konkani is the local language  of a majority of people im south goa.

Famous beaches in Goa

COLVA

Colva is the most important and famous beach in south goa. It is a small village in south goa on the shores of the Arabian sea. It lies 39 km away from Panjim, capital of Indian state of Goa. The Church of Our Lady of Mercy in Colva is famous for its miracle statue of menino jesus. Many tourists cam be seen having a sunbath on the golden sand.

I had visited colva beach many times. Colva beach is known for beauty and peace. Lots of people specially tourists visit this beach because it is famous beach of south goa. But now it crowded with people.  People enjoy a lot on this beach. People come with their families to spend time.

BENAULIM

Varca, cavelossim and Mobor are the most beautiful beaches of south Benaulim. These beache are much cleaner and quieter than other famous beaches  of goa. There are numerous beach shacks offering a variety of goan dishes and seafood at reasonable prices. There are plenty of transportation facilities available to reach these beaches from margao. From cavelossim village margao is 18km away and busses ans autos are available easily. To move locally use cycles and scooters  that are available on hire.

I had visited benaulim 3-4 times. Theses beach is different from colva beach because ir is not crowded. Only few people's or tourists can be seen. This beach is peaceful. And the foods of benaulim is very famous and tasty. There are several food joints around Dona Sylvia where you can get entire package of good food, good drinks and a pleasant service in quiet reasonable rates. There  are facilities for Dolphin watching up river Sal. Do visit this place it is very beautiful and peaceful too.
